Brighton
Saturday 22 January 2005

These notes were written more than 2 years after the day of skiing. From the photographs and the list of runs, this looks like a fairly "standard" visit to Brighton, with pretty good weather and snow conditions. The day started with 4 runs from Crest Express, the highlight being moguls on the intermediate run, Hawkeye.

The warm-up runs were followed by more challenging skiing, with 4 runs from Snake Creek, starting with the steep mogulled run under the lift, Doyle's Dive and ending with a relatively fast ski down Thunderhead and the subsequent mogul runs before a break for coffee.

After the coffee break, I moved over to Great Western Express for a few runs and finished with a variety of runs from all three major lifts.

I ended the day at lunchtime. The pictures showing the snow at the sides of the roads shows a good snow depth.
